Law Career Opportunities in China

The Chinese legal system is one of the most complex in the world, but the number of lawyers across the country is relatively small. In 2018, there were around 423,758 lawyers in China compared to the US, with over 1.3 million. For this reason, international students who are taking law degrees in China have a bright future ahead of them, not only working in the judicial system but in wide range of industries. Foreign law degree holders also play a major advantage because of their ability to speak English and speak basic Chinese.
