How did TIEMBA react to the Covid pandemic?

Though COVID brought  a lot of difficulties to the TIEMBA program, given their home campus is in Beijing, China, the TIEMBA community nonetheless persevered, innovated, and drew on strong global connections to provide highly ranked EMBA education.

We are so proud that TIEMBA has been operated as usual in the last years years. We do appreciate our students’ commitments and resolution to join the program during the most turbulent time in last two years. Both schools–Tsinghua University and INSEAD–made a lot of investment to build up the E-live hybrid learning solution combing virtual and in-person teaching, using the best technology and equipment. Our professors and students sitting at different campuses, and the Zoomers learning from home, easily connected and interacted with each other regardless of the physical distance.

The Tsinghua team also sourced some backup classrooms out of our campuses to cope with some extreme situations. Besides securing the course delivery with a sound quality, we also organized company visits and class activities out of the campuses in hybrid mode.

Fortunately, as of now, INSEAD campuses in Singapore and France have been fully accessible. We hope China will release its travel restrictions step by step when the situation allows. For students who may still unable to travel overseas, we will continue to strive for the best education quality for all students with all the technology available to us, and work for ease of travel and study for students regardless of their situation.
