In Pictures: Springtime at Tsinghua University’s Campus

Tsinghua University is renowned throughout China and the world for having one of the most beautiful university campuses in the world, even attaining a professional recognition by Forbes in 2010.

Located in northwest Beijing, Tsinghua University’s campus stands on the site of the former imperial gardens of the Qing dynasty. It features a combination of Chinese-style landscaping and traditional buildings along with Western-style buildings which reflect the American influence in its history.

Every year during springtime (from early April to late May), the campus comes alive with blooming flowers, sprouting trees, and even wildlife that emerge to enjoy the warm and pleasant weather. Here’s a glimpse of what it looks like.
