- Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) – Chinese Language Program: Updated the Spring 2024 intake deadline to December 30, 2023.
- Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) – Chinese Language Program: Updated the Spring 2024 intake deadline to December 30, 2023.
- Beijing Foreign Studies University, International Business School: Added March 2024 Spring intake, with a deadline of application on December 15, 2023, to their International Foundation Program and 7 English-taught Bachelor’s programs.
- Tongji University: Updated the deadline of the Chinese Language Program Spring 2024 intake to November 30, 2023.
- Tsinghua University: Updated the deadline of the Chinese Language Program Spring 2024 intake to November 10, 2023.
- Fudan University: Updated the deadline of the Chinese Language Program Spring 2024 intake to December 10, 2023.
- Beijing Normal University: Chinese Language Program deadline was updated to November 30, 2023.
- BFSU IBS: Updated the Chinese Language Program March 2024 Intake to December 15, 2023. Added the Chinese Language Program September 2024 Intake 1 semester with deadline on June 15, 2024.

Application Deadline (2024 Intake)
The application deadline varies depending on the University, there is no universal deadline for all universities in China.
For Spring intake applications, generally, the application deadline will be by December of the previous year; meanwhile for Fall intake applications, generally the application deadline will be by April to June, though there are some universities with earlier or later deadlines.
Make sure to plan ahead and do the application on time; we recommend completing your application at least 2 weeks in advance, to avoid missing the application deadline.
Application Intakes
Chinese Universities generally have 2 intakes (start date) in each year, which will be in the Spring (end of February) and Fall (September) semester.
The degree program will be offered mainly in the Fall intake. However, if you want to do a Chinese language program (non-degree program), then you can apply for either Spring or Fall intake.

When is the right time to apply? The answer is now. It’s always better to start as early as possible for your University application.
