China Opens Its Doors: Passport Holders from Six Countries Enjoy Visa-Free Entry in 2023-2024!

Exciting News!

In a groundbreaking move, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially declared a unilateral visa-free travel period for ordinary passport holders from December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, for citizens of the following countries:

  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • the Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Malaysia

During this period, passport holders from these countries can enter China without a visa for purposes such as business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit, with a maximum stay of 15 days.

For those who do not meet the visa exemption requirements, obtaining a visa before entering China is still necessary.

This decision, as unveiled by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, underscores China’s dedication to fostering cross-border exchanges and advancing high-quality development in services related to international travel.
