Introduction to the Program
The Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering is a four year program taught in English for international students.
About the school
The department has a total of 29 professors, 42 associate professors and 79 lecturers. After nearly 50 years of development, it has developed a great team of excellent teachers, who have extensive experiences about abroad study and cooperative research. In recent years, a lot of eminent professors from Australian Wollongong University, American Texas A&M University, English University College London and many other universities are entitled to be guest professors, improving the whole ability of running department. Based on the students’ study requirements and knowledge foundation, we have set up the curriculums and cultivation plan as well as assigning experienced professors to teaching in fluent English. The international students have been impressed with excellent teaching staff, advanced lab equipments and scientific teaching methods in the International TE program.
Start Date of the program:
There is only 1 intake each year and that is in the fall semester (September) each year.

The application deadline is June 30th for Fall semester.
Admissions Requirements
Must be under 30 years old, graduates from high school, with a good command of English; TOEFL, GRE, IELTS or other official recognized test holders are preferred.
Program description:
The international program of Telecommunication Engineering (TE) is undertaken by the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which recruits international students for undergraduate and postgraduate courses with English instruction. This program has gained high international reputation since it started in 2005 and it has brought together around 200 international students from all over the world to study and research in this program. A great number of Chines government scholarship students and self-funded students have applied for this program, while a lot of governments scholarship students from Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and other countries have been selected to get further studies and researches here.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fee is 30,000 RMB per year the total tuition is 120,000 RMB for the four year program.
Accommodation
HUST offers 15 accommodated apartments on campus for international students. Single and double rooms are provided according to their own needs. Washing room, water heater, air conditioner, Internet, telephone and furniture.
