Jiangsu University MBBS: Now Open for Spring 2022 Intake

Jiangsu University MBBS in Clinical Medicine has now opened a Spring 2022 intake for students!

Students who start their MBBS degree in March 2022 will graduate at the same time as September intake students. They will have the chance to complete their studies in 5 and a half years. This is to accommodate the students’ needs for job hunting. The total amount and type of compulsory class will be the same for both intakes, but the students that enroll in the spring shall have a relatively more intense study for the first semester, completing two semesters’ courses in one. However, the first semester year will be only fundamental classes and Chinese language courses, so students will be able to handle them in one semester.

The Jiangsu University MBBS application for Spring 2022 intake is due: January 12, 2022. The spring 2022 intake is going to open on November 12th, 2021. Your application can be submitted after that date.

What is the Jiangsu University Clinical Medicine MBBS?

Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is the first bachelor’s degree program opened to overseas students at JSU, which began in the year 2005. JSU’s Medical School has first-class facilities on campus, purpose-built for learning. The teaching and learning buildings are well-equipped with excellent seminar facilities and dedicated problem-based learning rooms. The University’s Affiliated Hospital is a state-of-the-art building offering a superb teaching environment with a dedicated clinical skills teaching area for the students.

The JSU Clinical Medicine MBBS will take five years of study and one year for internships–a total of 6 years.

Clinical Medicine is a science studying the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of diseases for improving the level of clinical treatment and promoting human health.

Clinical Medicine MBBS Curriculum

Core Courses:

  • Human anatomy
  • Histology and embryology
  • Biochemistry
  • Medical genetics
  • Cell and molecular biology, etc.

Medical undergraduate courses of Jiangsu University include general courses, professional basic courses, and professional courses.

General courses include natural science courses, such as advanced mathematics, physics, basic chemistry, as well as humanities and social science courses, such as Chinese language and Overview of China.

Professional basic courses are mainly biomedical courses, such as systematic anatomy, medical genetics, histology, etc.

Professional courses include clinical courses, such as diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, etc. Public health classes are also covered, such as epidemiology, medical statistics, preventive medicine, and social medicine, as well as medical humanities courses, such as medical psychology, medical ethics, and medical Chinese.
