Before arriving in China
If you are looking for private accommodation we suggest that you book a hotel near to the University for the first week so you can have enough time to look at a variety of apartments. There are often many hotels near the University, and the price is normally 200-300 RMB per night for your own room, you can also find cheaper hotels.
You can normally find decent accommodation near to the University on Booking.com, or Ctrip.com
You can search on Booking.com below, just type the University name in full below, and search by distance from the University. Many Universities have hotels that are nearby, and often the price online is cheaper than booking direct.
