Many international students are interested in studying Chinese in Beijing and sometimes they get confused between BLCU Beijing Language and Culture University and BLCC Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College.

Their names are quite similar! But lets compare the different ones to help you choose!

The price of the standard Chinese programs is relatively the same.

However the main difference is the location, and the dormitory.

BLCU dormitories are currently limited. BLCU may suit students who prefer to live off campus, and may be interested in meeting students from other universities, cafes and some restaurants, or close to the subway.

BLCC may suit students who prefer to be in a quieter environment, it is close to the mountains and great wall. There are enough dormitories on campus. Because there is dormitory accommodation, the price of accommodation in BLCC is therefore is lower and may also suit students who are interested to save some money.
