Introduction to the Program
The Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering at Changzhou University is a four-year program for international students taught in English.
About the Program
Students will be able to undertake petroleum engineering design, operation, production management, scientific development and applied research, etc. as well as know about Chinese society and culture when they graduate. Students should acquire the academic knowledge and research abilities. They should have a solid foundation in math, physics, chemistry, mechanics, and geology and master basic Chinese. They should have the ability to design projects of oil and gas well drilling and producing, oil and gas field exploitation, to analyze and solve practical problems, to make a technological improvement, scientific development and to process applied research. Graduates will have a fairly strong experiment testability, calculation ability, and expression ability. Graduates will have insight and ability to process production and organizational management with systematic engineering ideas and modern operational knowledge.

Entry Requirements
- In good health condition, in accordance with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the Ministry of Education, China.
- Good moral character and discipline towards the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university.
- Good English or Chinese language proficiency.
- High school graduation certificate.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fees are RMB 16,000 per year. The total for the 4-year program is 72,000 RMB.
