Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA (TIEMBA) participant Alexis Bonhomme, from class of 2023, had the honor of being selected to take part in the 8th China-France Young Leaders Program, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. During this five-day program in Tianjin and Beijing, Mr. Li Hongzhong, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, and the former Foreign Affairs Minister Li Zhaoxing met with the group and had insightful discussions with young leaders from both countries. In addition, the group had the opportunity to explore AI industry research at Tsinghua University and meet with Wang Hongwei, Vice-President of Tsinghua University.
Alexis Bonhomme, who joined the TIEMBA program in 2021 and currently serves as the Vice President Greater China & APAC at Farfetch, views this experience as a significant platform for fostering cross-cultural exchange and collaboration among the prospective leaders of China and France.
