The application deadline is on June 15, 2024.
Eligibility
- Foreign nationality with valid passport
- Good health
- High school graduate or above who is qualified to apply for university
- Aged between 18 and 25 (Applicants under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who has Beijing residency)
Application Documents for BIT
- Photocopy of Passport (photo page and China visa page)
- Certified/Notarized Copy of High School Transcripts and Diploma (Chinese or English version)
- The Valid Report of Chinese or English Language Proficiency Tests. (For Chinese Medium: HSK 5 ≥ 180, For English Medium: IELTS ≥ 6.0 or TOEFL ≥ 85 or other language certificate recognized by BIT. English native speakers are exempted.)
- Personal Statement/Study Plan (download the template)
- BIT Freshmen Scholarship Application Form (For applicants who will apply for BIT Freshmen Scholarship, please download the form)
- Applications under 18 must upload all materials required in Application Materials for Student under 18 (download from the Link)
- Physical Examination Record
- Financial Guarantee Letter
- Non-criminal Record (Issued by the local police station)
- Other documents (Students in design major should provide no less than 2 art works)

- Comprehensive Interview
- Pre-Admission
- Placement Test
- The pre-admitted appliant shall take the Placement Test. The subjects include Mathematics (Examination Syllabus), Physics (Examination Syllabus), Chinese/English for Major in Engineering & Science disciplines, OR Mathematics (Examination Syllabus), Chinese/English for Major in Liberal Arts & Business disciplines. The test will be conducted in student’s applied langguage of instruction. The Applicant who have fulfilled the requirements of Placement Test Waiver Conditions (see the Link or the attachment) can be exempted. Detailed arrangements will be informed in Placement Test Notice.
