Students can take advantage of the fresh air and warm climate to exercise in Huitong Sports Park, a huge complex favored by UIC students for its many sports facilities to play tennis, basketball, football, or run. Athletes exercise in a peaceful, clean environment surrounded by Zhuhai’s stunning mountain ranges and forests.

In the dormitories, International and Chinese students share a room together. All rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, internet access, and air conditioning. Each floor has a pantry, kitchenette, and common lounge, and dorms have laundry facilities, study room, and a multi-purpose room

Students can decide which class format–in person, online synchronous, or online asynchronous–works the best for them. 

Available Scholarships at United International College

International students have a chance to earn scholarships based on their academic merit. Scholarships include:

  • Full Scholarship of 100% Tuition Fee
  • Partial Scholarship of 30% Tuition Fee
  • Government Scholarship of 10,000 RMB

There are limited scholarships in all three categories, and admissions are rolling (aka first-come, first-serve), so students who apply early will have a greater chance of qualifying for one of the limited scholarships.

To qualify for scholarships you, need to have excellent grades. For the Full Scholarship, your grades should be A/A+ level (90% or above). For Partial scholarship, your grades should be a B level (80% or above).

Is UIC Open for 2023 Intake Applicants?

Now that the Chinese border is partially open and X1 visa applications are open again, UIC is accepting applications from international students outside of China. They do not offer online courses, only in-person and on-campus, so please make sure you are eligible for a Chinese X1 visa before applying to UIC!
