How long does it take to process my Chinese university application and get my admissions letter?
This is one of the most common questions we receive from students. Once you submit the complete requirements, we check with the university every week to give you timely updates and ensure than your application is processed as soon as possible.
Why haven’t I heard back about my Chinese University Application?
After you submit your application documents on our platform, we send them to the university on your behalf.
However, we can only send your application to the university once their own application season opens. In general, Chinese universities open their application seasons for 2022 Intake from November-January, OR from February-April.
Here is an example. If you submit your application to us in December, but the university is not open to accepting new applications until February, then we will submit your application in February. Even if you finish early and we send it in early, the university won’t read it until February comes around.
This is why it can feel like it takes a long time to process your application. Sometimes, the university just simply hasn’t opened its doors yet! But, we promise to send your application to the university as soon as they will let us😉. But we still recommend applying as early as you can: learn why here.
How long does it take the Chinese university to read my application?
Chinese universities typically process applications in 4 to 8 weeks. Some universities process applications only once per year, so the only thing we can do is wait. But there are also universities who process applications on a rolling basis.
