About the Program

SCUT’s School of Business Administration was the first university in south China to grant MBA degrees. To date, ten classes of MBA graduates have been awarded degrees, contributing over 300 middle- and-high-level administrators and managers to the business world. In this way, SCUT’s School of Business Administration has become a leader in MBA education, and has been aptly nicknamed a ‘Cradle of Entrepreneurs’. The international MBA program focuses on the cultivation of students’ macro administration and decision making abilities, leadership talents, and their international field of vision. These skills give graduates the ability to adapt themselves to the global business environment; confidently face new opportunities and challenges from China’s, and the world’s, further development; and, enhance the competitive power of enterprises. Graduates with this type of professional degree and familiarity with Chinese culture are highly sought after in international and multi-national enterprises.

Objectives of Training

The MBA program aims to develop managerial skills, leadership talent and international vision in its students. It then endeavors to train students in keen strategic thinking, perspective analysis, and macro-decision making in the dynamic and complex global environment The program allows students to constantly improve their abilities in managing and to become comprehensive managerial talents with competitive powers to confidently face the opportunities and challenges of the new economy and WTO.

Methodology of Training

The MBA program focuses on practical operational training, improving the professional quality of managers, and cultivating team-spirit among managers. These are attained by coupling routine teaching programs with seminars, case studies, game imitations, enterprise observation, celebrity forums, team work, and business surveys.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants must have obtained Bachelor’s degree for at least two years since graduation.
• Bachelor’s degree diploma and transcripts with good standard.

Language Requirements

• New HSK Band 4 with scores above 180 points
• TOEFL IBT 80/IELTS 6.0 above

Basic Chinese, Chinese Culture, Managerial Economics, Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, Operations and Logistics Management Culture, Ethics and Leadership, etc

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees are RMB 44,500 per year. The total for the 2 year program is 89,000 RMB.
