There are not many universities that offer a spring intake for degree programs starting in February/March, most programs start in September. If you don’t want to wait that long you can still apply for a degree program for the spring intake of 2018. Make sure to start your application now, the application deadlines are about to pass.

Jiangsu University is among the top 100 ranked universities in China and counts itself as one of China’s oldest educational institutions. For spring intake you can apply for Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. The university offers a very big variety of programs so you will be very likely to find a program which is just perfect for you. The university offers relatively low tuition fees, so the education is quite affordable! The deadline to apply is 28th of January 2018. The application fee for this university is $80 USD.

University of International Business and Economics (short UIBE) is one of China’s leading universities when it comes to business studies. For spring intake you can apply for Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. The program selection for business and economics is quite big and also includes related programs such as marketing, finances, logistics and more. The deadline to apply is December 31st of 2017. The application fee is $110 USD.

Location: Beijing

Programs: Bachelor, Master, PhD in the field of business, economics and related subject areas

Tuition Fee (per year): Between 36,000 rmb ($5440 USD) and 99,160 rmb ($14,975 USD). Depends on the program, you can look up the exact tuition fee for each program here by typing in “UIBE”.

Beijing Language and Culture University – Bachelor and Master programs

Beijing Language and Culture University is one of China’s leading universities to teach foreign languages. For spring intake you can apply for Bachelor and Master programs. The program selection is quite small and includes Chinese language. The application deadline is January 13th 2018. The application fee is $120 USD.

Tuition Fee (per year): 24,900 rmb ($3760 USD) for Bachelor programs, 25,700 rmb ($3,880 USD) for Master programs

Shanghai Normal University is one of Shanghai’s key universities. For spring intake you can apply for a small selection of Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. The programs include teaching chinese to speakers of other languages, linguistics and Chinese language. The deadline to apply is 23rd of January. The application fee for this university is $100 USD.

Location: Shanghai

Programs: Bachelor, Master, PhD programs in Chinese language, linguistics and teaching chinese language

Tuition Fee (per year): 18,000 rmb ($2,720 USD) for Bachelor programs, 23,000 rmb ($3,475 USD) for Master programs and 28,000 rmb ($4,230 USD) for PhD programs.

Wuhan University counts to China’s top 50 universities and is quite strong in the field of engineering. For the spring intake you can apply for Master programs only. The program selection covers some engineering programs as well as business and economics programs. The application deadline for this program is the 5th of January! The application fee is $100 USD.

Location: Wuhan

Programs: Master programs only, some engineering programs as well as business and economics programs

Tuition fee (per year): Between 27,000 rmb ($4,080 USD) and 34,000 rmb ($5,135 USD). Depends on the program, you can look up the exact tuition fee for each program here by typing in “Wuhan University of Technology”. Please don’t confuse it with Wuhan University, which is a different university.

  1. Click the “Apply Now” button of a university that interests you, select a program that you want to apply for and click “Next: Contact Info” button. You can then also include more programs in the program section of your application
  2. Fill in all your personal details and upload all documents. Make sure to read this article here to find out which documents are required.
  3. Go to the payment section of your online application, pay the application fee and attach a receipt of payment. Make sure to click the “submit payment” button so we can review and submit your application

      the application fee depends on the university you are applying for. Most application fees range between $80-$150 USD. For the universities of this article the application fees are mentioned in the text of this article
