We’re looking for an International Marketing Manager at China Admissions
Are you interested in international marketing? are you able to connect to international students who are interested in studying in China? are you interested to work closely with top Chinese universities and promote them internationally?
We are China Admissions, an investor backed online platform for international students to apply to Chinese Universities. We partner with 120 top Chinese universities, and have over 120,000 registered students.
We are growing fast and looking for an international marketing manager to join our team. You will be leading our international marketing, content strategy and working closely with top Chinese universities to carry out international marketing campaigns.
In the first 3 months you will have the following objectives.
1> Double registrations on China Admissions platform from 200 to 400 per day.
You will be working to double the number of new user registrations on China Admissions from 200 to 400 per day. We suggest this can be by first 1) increasing the website traffic, and 2) increasing the registration rate of users already on the site. You will be monitoring the funnel and responsible for driving growth of new students. You can use a number of tools from and resources from our team in product, content and recruitment. SEO, video creation, social media, landing pages, email campaigns.
2> Launch marketing awareness and registrations to satisfy our Chinese University partners
You will be working closely with Chinese University partners to help them meet marketing objectives and international awareness in their programs. The KPI are traffic, content created, and registrations.
This means keeping in contact with them, building a good relationship and exceeding their expectations. You will be organising and promoting 3-5 events, and responsible for driving registrations and attendance to these events of 30+. You will also be managing, monitoring and reporting marketing campaigns on our platform, creating content, and ensuring that they meet the objectives and satisfy our university partners.
3> Ensuring the website content is world class level
You will be responsible for the content on our site. We would like you to do a review of the current content quality of our site, and generate new awesome quality that will be useful for students and drive growth in the student experience. Interviewing students, writing 10+ articles per month, and working with our content team to oversee content creation of articles and videos sharing these on social media.
This is a cross functional role, you will be focused on marketing. You will work closely with our content team, recruitment team, and Chinese universities to help them drive marketing growth. You will also be working with our admissions team for the latest information and tech team to drive improvements to the user experience.
We need someone with a native level of English. international mindset is a must. Its a huge advantage if you have studied in China yourself before. Being tech savvy,, entrepreneurial interest or experience is an advantage.
We expect you’ll have a strong track record of launching marketing campaigns before. Have strong initiative, great people skills, and be able to write and create engaging content and be proficient with international social media.
