When you are applying to a University you obviously want to maximise your chances of being accepted. Getting rejected wastes time, energy, and money (for the non-refundable application fee).
We can not control if you get accepted or not to the university. That is the university’s decision. That is why we recommend that you apply to at least 3 programs or you can use our “Guaranteed Acceptance Service” where we will help you choose 3 programs you can apply for and guarantee you will get accepted with a partial refund guarantee.
We have a very high acceptance rate, but there are still, unfortunately, a small number of students who do not get accepted to the program. That is why we are working hard to make so if you apply on China Admissions you can’t get accepted and get as close to 100% as possible.
We are excited to launch an “eligibility check” which will be ready in the coming weeks. This will make it so you can find all the information and only apply to those universities that you can get accepted to.
We also want to share a top tip on how to increase your chances of being accepted:
– Apply Early
– Prepare all the documents correctly
Another tip that I want to share that can help your chances of being accepted is to strengthen your application and profile. If you present yourself as a strong candidate then you have a higher chance of being accepted.
Do you speak Chinese? That will help you to increase your chances because you are more likely to succeed in China. Many of you are applying with no level of Chinese but if you have some then it can greatly help your chances. This demonstrates that you are committed to learning the language which is very important in China to communicate with Chinese people.
Consider taking an online certificate in Chinese to strengthen your application.
Fortunately Beijing Language and Culture University have an online Chinese Program that takes 12 weeks and you can get 1/2 an HSK. The price is also very affordable. At the end you will have a certificate that you can upload on your application. They also have 1 on 1 Online Chinese programs.
You can learn more about the program here.
