Seeking Head of Content to take our content to the next level

Are you an excellent writer? love creating articles and media that leaves an impact and really helps other people? Are there other skills that you are looking to use and develop? Such as marketing, UX, UI, design, recruitment and management? Do you have a global mindset? Are you excited by the challenge of helping students and universities to grow and develop

We are China Admissions, an investor backed online platform for international students to apply to Chinese Universities. We partner with 90 top Chinese universities, and have over 100,000 registered students.

We are growing fast and looking for a head of content to join our team to drive forward our content growth in quality and quantity through this exciting stage as we reach the next level.

Your Objectives

In the first 6 months you will have the following objectives.

1> ?️ Create supportive content for the other teams to achieve their targets.

Content is core to our platform. You will be working closely with recruitment teams, admissions, and university team and universities and students directly. Understanding what they need and proving a schedule and plan for creating quality content.

This means getting 100+  student stories so we can share their experiences in China online. We will also look at writing at least 15 articles per month. 5 that highlight our core strengths . 1) Fast & Effective, 2) Simple & Easy, 3) Free – 5 articles to promote and introduce the advantages of specific universities and programs. – 5 articles per month about students in China and their experiences.

2> ?Grow Our Blog Traffic from 20,000 to 100,000 per month 10X in 1 Year

It is important to grow our traffic and readers. You’ll be researching SEO and reviewing our SEO and making updates so it improves. We want to create a mix of long form and short form articles to target traffic on SEO and social media. You’ll also create regular emails to our users.

3> ? Content is world class

To oversee and manage the content on the website to ensure its all correct.

You’ll be creating a content quality KPI, evaluating the accuracy and quality of our website. How many errors are there, as a percentage of pages or students. Coming up with 10 ways to improve that measure of quality and doing the top 3. We’ll need to design some kind of system for alerting us of quality issues / flags.
As we grow you will also need to recruit and hire excellent content creators to help drive our content forward.

Working environment

We need someone with a native level English. international mindset is a must. Chinese language, being tech savvy, marketing experience, entrepreneurial interest or experience is an advantage.

We expect you’ll have a strong track record of quality content g.
